Jose started his rebar career when he was 18 years old. He quickly rose through the ranks as a member of the Ironworkers Union, starting as an apprentice and ultimately into a leadership role as a superintendent. While in the field, he specialized in post-tension operations. Jose’s most recent achievement was the complex $315 million, 5.3 million pounds of paced rebar Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum renovation.
After 23 years in the field, six of which were with MSL, Jose transitioned into sales as a sales manager. Again, he quickly made his mark by combining his deep knowledge of rebar fabrication and placement in the field with his desire to position MSL as the rebar subcontractor of choice. Jose specializes in strategically utilizing technology, data, and metrics to drive bid activity while focusing on maintaining and developing relationships with General Contractor partners.
Jose is dedicated to his career and finds time to travel, usually to a lake, beach, or river destination with his wife and two daughters.
